Very, Very peppery! I love spice and this is one of my favorite teas in cool weather. I brew mine different than instructions. I found something on Pinterest and decided to try it. I boil a cup of water and then pour a cup of milk then add 2 heaping teaspoons of tea…bring to a boil for a minute or two (depends on your taste) then add a splash of Agave and it is so good. According to the site I was reading, street vendors prepare it with milk in India rather than water…I like it both ways but prefer the milk prep…my new go to.
