Our Mesquite Honey comes from a tree that is well-known for its rich, smoky flavor. Mesquite trees thrive on adversity and require drought conditions in order to produce sufficient nectar for bees. The clusters of fragrant yellow flowers that bloom each spring to feast on nectar from the Honey Mesquite and other unique varieties in mesquite “bosques” (Spanish for forests).
