Our Darjeeling Castleton originates from the Castleton Tea Estate in India. Located in the Kurseong (Kurseong translates to Land of the White Orchids), the Castleton Tea Estate dates back to 1885 and is named after a local structure that looks like a castle. This tea is a Third Flush or Autumnal Darjeeling that utilizes Chinese tea bushes. This tea is grown at an altitude of between 4,300 feet and 6,500 feet.
