Our Black Sage honey is produced on the mountainsides of the California’s Sierra Nevada mountain range. The honey is produced from the Black Sage that blooms spring through early summer in the region. A favorite for honey enthusiasts as it has a higher fructose level making it slow to crystallize. It is lighter in color and has a sweet clover like flavor and a rich floral aftertaste. Sage honey is a local favorite for folks growing up in the Western United States.
