A lot of research went into creating Oak City Chai. It is our first in-house full leaf chai blend. And there were quite a few styles of chai that we could have gone with. Some have a lot of pepper, others have quite a bit of ginger and cinnamon. We decided to go with a chai that was a little more prevalent in cardamom. We hope you enjoy!
- Ceylon
- Spicy and sweet. Heavier on the cardamom, but rounded off with ginger, cinnamon, and a bit of heat in the finish.
- Medium-high
- Ceylon black tea, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, clove, pepper, star anise, chili pepper. Shake bag before each use.

Best Chai ever! Better than my home made, so will save me the trouble of grinding spices and boiling for half an hour. Love the cardamom forward of this Chai.

Several years ago, a friend purchased a blend made with Wedding Chai and Peppermint that was extremely good. After thinking about it for WAY too long, I went back and was going to have them recreate it, but at the time, the Wedding Chai was not offered, so the staff suggested Oak City Chai. We ended up blending the Oak City Chai with Vanilla Black tea and Peppermint to get the blend I was looking for and I have been in love with it ever since. The spices make for such a comforting cup of tea and the slightly peppery finish makes for the perfect surprise on the back end.
